Growing up with the Wisconsin River as my backyard, falling in love with nature was inevitable. My artistic journey began early: I started sewing at seven and picked up my first camera at ten. Once I mastered the basics, I began experimenting with a "what if" approach, using my imagination to turn the typical into the inspirational. After years of garment making, I craved a more creative outlet and shifted my focus to art dolls and quilts. Today, my work combines photography and fabric manipulation - including painting, dyeing, and printing - to tell stories that go beyond technical skill. Whether I am using a needle or a camera lens, my passion remains the same: capturing the beauty of the world and embellishing it to create something new.
