Born and raised in Oak Park, Michigan just outside of Detroit I attended Wayne State University and then moved to Chicago to study art at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Over the past 40 years I have painted portraits, murals, store backdrops, and exhibited my work in galleries and museums throughout the country. These include most recently The Reece Museum in Tennessee and Limner Gallery in Hudson, N.Y. My two mediums of choice are acrylics and pastels. Much of my earlier work was focused on sports themed art but in the past 5 years the focus has become on work more personal and surreal.
