Why is art a key part of human interaction? What can art do to change human interaction? These questions have driven me to want to understand people in a way that can be expressed through a universal channel of communication, art. Studying psychology has helped give me a background in the human mind. With this I want to use my passion of art to expand on the scientific research done with in psychology. By using art I can reach more than only those who study psychology to better understand the human emotions. Art connects people, art evokes emotion and art can be understood no matter what language you speak. I want to use art to explore people's ability to communicate emotions, and challenge others to be more openminded about ways to communicate common human feelings. I am continuing my education at Mount Mary University to get my masters in Art Therapy.
