I'm a person who's watched too many films. Often I am drawn to the cheap overly stagy look of silent films that is so effective at conveying simple but direct emotion. A Texture foundation with a focus on repetitive details ironically are my attempts to capture that simplicity. Acrylic paint is the most consistent medium I use, but almost everything I make could be considered mixed media.
