I am a figurative acrylic and oil painter from Denver, Colorado and I currently live in Chicago’s Ravenswood Neighborhood. My art career began In 2015 when I received a gold medal from the Denver Art Museum and the Colorado Watercolor Society. My paintings were then shown in the Colorado History Museum. I also received a travel grant to study the Old Masters in Florence and Sienna at the Sienna Art Institute (SART). In 2016 my portfolio received a Presidential Scholarship to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I specialized in observational figurative artwork and developed a love for abstracted and illutrative figures. Since graduating my work has been shown professionally in and around Chicago including Happy Gallery’s “Valentines Show” (2023), the Oak Park Art League’s “Figurative Art” 2023) and the 12th Annual Bridgeport Art Center’s Art Competition (2024). I was also commissioned by the Chicago History Museum for 4’ x 6’ commission which was included “City on Fire: Chicago 1871” (2021) which is on semi-permanent display at the museum. I am currently working on my ongoing body work: “The Space Between the Stars.”
