Everybody has a junk drawer. It’s where the misfit, overlooked, and forgotten things go. For as long as I can remember, that’s where I’ve found my inspiration. I’m 26, and I’ve spent my life finding meaning in things people throw away or ignore. From the scraps I collected as a child to the complex pieces I create today, I take mundane, overlooked concepts and use them to say something intense. My practice is an evolving junk drawer of techniques. Just like a real junk drawer, you never exactly know what you’re going to pull out of here.
