Kelly Zeng
Artist on VibrantCast
Kelly is a Chicago‑based artist whose work explores the emotional resonance of music, literature, dance, and landscape. Working primarily in watercolor and experimental mixed‑media processes — including monotype, gelli printing, suminagashi, and collage — she creates layered, atmospheric images that capture the fleeting moments that take her breath away. Kelly has studied with watercolor master Ingrid Albrecht for nearly a decade and has trained with several nationally recognized artists. A Signature Member of the International Society of Experimental Artists since 2025, she exhibits widely in the Chicago area and beyond, including shows at Northshore Art League, Mana Contemporary, Evanston Art Center, Ormond Memorial Art Museum, and the Norris Cultural Arts Center.
