Kimberly Nguyen

Artist on VibrantCast

Kimberly Nguyen is a Vietnamese-American visual artist from Chicago, Illinois. Her work explores the subtle tensions between the familiar and the unfamiliar, the ordinary and the abnormal. Through a collage approach, she challenges traditional photographic representations by reconstructing her own images, transforming everyday imagery into fragmented, layered compositions. In doing so, she invites viewers to reconsider meaning, hyperreality, and the ubiquitous presence of images in contemporary culture. Website: kimberlynguyen.net
