Artist on VibrantCast

My name is Katie-Sue! I’m a Chicago-based artist who loves to paint what I'm passionate about, and share that excitement with others. What inspires me the most are strong heroines; you’ll often see me tackling characters like Dana Scully of the X-Files, Naru from Prey or - my favorite - Marvel’s Black Widow. I experience true emotional investment in their complex, often heartbreaking, character arcs. Of course I’ve also been known to paint a few male characters because I do love a tragic hero. Basically any character that sticks in my brain, long after the show or movie is done, will earn a spot on my easel.
