Artist on VibrantCast

Now a retired physical therapist, I have found the time to pursue my love for art. My "Woodsaic" series blends the fine art of woodworking with the fine art of mosaics. I find interesting pieces of wood and transform them in creative ways, then add mosaic elements into the wood to form a cohesive piece of art. I proudly show my work at juried art fairs and galleries throughout Chicagoland. I'm also a performing musician, a percussionist, and I am aware of the similarities between the art forms of music and visual arts. As my brand is labeled "RichInRhythm", I celebrate the rich, rhythmic patterns of woodgrain and mosaic materials in this series.
