Biography Set Gozo is a visual artist born in the Philippines. She earned her degree in Visual Arts from the University of the Philippines in 1985. After immigrating to the United States, she pursued a degree in Nursing from Purdue University in 1993, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from Calumet College of Saint Joseph in 1996. In 1997, she furthered her artistic education by studying photography and ceramics at Indiana University. Since 2016, she has been a resident artist at the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago. She taught at the Chicago Ceramic Center for five years and currently offers classes at her own studio. Alongside her artistic pursuits, she continues to practice as a nurse, treating art as a form of therapeutic creative expression. Set Gozo has received several awards and has exhibited in numerous juried shows. She is a former board member of Chicago Sculpture International and the Chicago Alliance of Visual Arts and remains actively involved in various art organizations.
