Artist on VibrantCast

Chicago based artist Sophie Levit has always had a passion for color ever since she was a kid. She has been honing her skills in color and joyfulness in painting for the past few years, embracing all the whimsy that life has to offer (and if there isn’t any, making some)! Although Sophie obtained her Bachelors of Fine Arts with a focus in graphic design from the Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design in 2021, she quickly realized she had no intention of limiting her creative process to a screen. Her artistic practice stems from everyday experiences, combining both personal (and often silly) storytelling with underlying emotional currents that play to a deeper meaning underneath her bright colors and whimsical compositions. Her love for fine arts combined with her design expertise allowed her to dive into creating exciting compositions and find her passion in painting whimsical and unconventional things to add some spice to everyday life.
