Artist on VibrantCast

I was born in Kiyv Ukraine. While growing up I developed a passion for art and science at an early age. I attended the National Technical University of Ukraine where I received my master degree in physics engineering. Soon after, I moved to the United States and have been a proud Chicagoan for over 30 years. During my life in US I became an art collector, but I would continue to create my own art as well. However, my artistic endeavors has changed since the war in Ukraine began. I found the creation of my art to be a coping mechanism to deal with painful and difficult emotions, stress, trauma and depression that we all sometimes experience. I believe we have an emotional exchange with every art piece that we look at. I want my art to bring a smile to your face, as well as joy and calmness, with a touch of nostalgia. All items found on each of my art work is not as random as it appears, they are arranged and meticulously put together by me to tell you a story. I use wooden panel boards, canvas panels or stretch canvas for my base and cover them with different type of lace as a background.
