I am Debra Rodriguez.Studied art at University Of Illinois.I think of myself as a painter of the endless possibilities of love in all its forms. The encounters of meeting a lover, friend, muse drive my work.Love is the most compelling emotion. In my composition I mimic the technicolor films of Old Hollywood.I like including objects that are modern composed with a primitive flair.I love to include ancient gods or surreal creatures because we have all shared the same planet at one time or another.I also love doing portraits of celebrities I admire for their contributions to making their art form a joyful inclusive space.
