"Eternal Smile" stands as a poignant tribute to my cherished dentist, Dr. David Bisterfeldt, whose untimely departure from this world at the tender age of 39 has left a void in the hearts of many. I came to know Dr. Bisterfeldt in the aftermath of a harrowing cycling accident in 2020 when I sought his expertise for dental care. Dr. Bisterfeldt was a beacon of light in times of discomfort; his humor was a balm to the soul. With an endless repertoire of jokes, he had the rare gift of transforming a visit to the dentist into a moment of joy. His ability to alleviate the distress of dental pain with laughter made each appointment something to look forward to. It was clear that this sentiment was shared among all his patients, who, like me, appreciated his warmth and levity. Throughout the years under his attentive care, I envisioned a future where Dr. Bisterfeldt would be my lifelong partner in healing from my accident. Learning of his sudden passing was a profound shock, and I am filled with deep sorrow at the loss of such a compassionate individual. The title "Eternal Smile" is my humble attempt to encapsulate Dr. Bisterfeldt's enduring spirit.
