This drawing was inspired by the beautiful and polychromatic pottery made by the people of Nazca in Peru, which you can see on full display at the Art Institue of Chicago. The Nazca people are thought to not have developed a written language but adorned their pottery with many images depicting humanoids and warriors. These drawings are intended to provide you with a small and very reduced peek into their world.
