TELEPORT

$1,800
What if you could pick up a phone and teleport to another world. This imaginative piece pays tribute to the lost art of pay phones. They were once located on every block, however, with the emergence of cell phones, they have all but gone extinct. Inside the pay phone box are push button phone keypads and a rotary dial to give it a unique district style. This pay phone box was salvaged from a Chicago company that manufactured them. The push botton phones were salvaged from a hotel in Wisconsin Dells. This piece is both from the past and the future. Sculpture, 2024.
