I was led by automatism and whim to create this dreamspace/ dreamscape of a city and face. The symbol in the sky is a personal symbol I created for myself when I was a teenager - I got it tattooed on my arm in my 30s. Its a reminder to myself not to get stuck in a rut. I can apply the idea creatively too: when I start to feel too tight with my art, I try to loosen up and let whim and chaos into the mix. This usually gets me feeling creative again. This piece represents one of those times where I needed to shift my perspective creatively and let myself create unhindered. Mediums: acrylic, collage, and colored pencil on wooden panel. Listen to the audio to hear a poetic story related to the image. (Audio Atmospheric Enhancement by Agent Sweetheart)
