Every year in October artists on Instagram engage in a month-long ink series called Inktober. Every year without fail I decide to commit to the series and then some time along the way I fall off as each piece takes me too long to keep up with the everyday aspect of the challenge. This piece is from 2023 and is part of 4 pieces that I did for Inktober. I decided to expand upon the ink idea and used ink gel pens since I don't typically create in black and white. I loved how the red strawberry turned out along with the cute little pink moth so much that I also created a sticker from it that is available on my website.
