The Light Gets in the Cracks

The Light Gets in the Cracks is one in a series of paintings painted during the end of a tumultuous time, looking back on a 12 year journey to deliver a promise. In the beginning of a near impossible journey, almost every moment feels like a challenge. In an attempt to hold oneself together there are mistakes made and the cracks show. The cracks are where learning happens and the light comes through. mixed media watercolor and ink on a cradled wood panel
