This acrylic on canvas painting is meant to depict the experience of a people pleaser and the toll that it can take on the mind. Being so caught up in the opinions and feelings of others can result in one's own emotions becoming jumbled and neglected. This preoccupation, along with the fear of being a burden, calls for a series of agreeable masks to be put on in order to supress and conform to standards set by perception.
