I paint to heal myself from PTSD. Here we have the depiction of a near death experience; almost drowning in Lake Michigan. This aquatic and traumatic piece is also a tribute to the late brother Christopher Gary. We lost Chris after he went missing while treading water in Lake Michigan for 10 hours helping save two fellow female friends. Oil Acrylic Aerosol on Canvas 36x36x2" | 2023
