Acrylic painting on framed mat board I made this painting in April of 2024, based on a photo I took on the CTA train. It was one of those moments where you just observe the world around and what the people around you are doing. Eveyone was trying to get home, everyone was distracted or on their phone, and it seemed people were tired from the day had. This painting just kind of visualizes that feeling of perceiving and seeing the beauty and individuality of strangers. It also visualizes my own personal daydreams, my own imagination. I find it so fascinating, that I will never see anyone I ride the train with again, but in this moment we are all doing the same thing on the same train, just trying to get home, and that to me is beautiful.
