Dye Surprise

$225

This piece is a sheet of freezer paper on the wrong (unshiny side) that I used for dying silk for scarves. The paper was much longer to fit 6 - 7"W x 72'L scarves I was going to dye. I splattered, eyedropped and blew dye through a straw and sprinkled a little salt around to get the effects you see. I let the scarves dry on the paper removed them then cut the paper to wrap on the canvas. I also used an irredescent medium on the white spots of the paper to give a little sparkle and dimension.
