This piece is a digital collage of a normal scanned photo of myself from childhood, and then it is repeated over again. But, the repeated photos are warped in different ways to show how we can simultaneously long for a time, and a version of ourselves that no longer exists, yet also not recognize that time, and that version of ourselves. By altering these photos by dragging them along a scanning bed as it moves, a warped and surreal memory-like visual quality is created.
