Multi media, oil base/body, paper flowers crafted from my paintings since I started in 2020. The anxiety I’ve held during this season of life is in part due to my ego afraid to let go. My inner voice has now pierced through the inner resistance, still too afraid to take up space. There’s old parts of me that wants to stay perpetually martyred. The golden ticket to holiness through self martyrdom. So in this through this painting, I’m coming to the realization that my inner voice is ready to move on from the old, and that’s ok. That’s beautiful. It's time to rest my love.
