Sakura Kokeshi
by Christina Damarjian
$475
This was made in my studio. I have been to kyoto, osaka, kobe, akhibara, tokyo. The kokeshi doll is a japanese doll for children. I painted a Kokeshi doll on the purse to represent innocence. I wanted sakura everywhere because I remember the trees and the smell of the air. the cat was everywhere and represented luck. I would love to paint on anyones purse for commission as well.
