Not For Sale / 80s memories
by Lazaro Villarreal
“This commissioned painting is a nostalgic tribute to a lifetime of memories, blending elements that reflect the client’s favorite things from her youth in the 1980s and her life experiences. The piece is a vibrant collage of personal icons, from music and movies to sentimental moments, including nods to her sons growing up in the 70s and 80s. With a mix of realism, pop art, and surreal touches, the painting captures the essence of her story in a visually dynamic and deeply personal way.” And if you notice right in the middle there is a real phone I mounted onto the canvas and painted it with colors that fit the style of the painting.
