Amalfi Coast

These paintings were inspired by a trip I took to Italy's Amalfi coast. I was so taken by the ocean and its endless shades of blue and white and the turbulence of the waves but could not seem to recreate the water with paint so I chose resin to capture the depth of color that I was striving for. I also hoped to portray the extreme contrast between the ocean and the rocky landscape
