Chicago Theatre

$1,500

Wow, what a beauty. I could sit and stare at this building all day. The Chicago Theatre was built in 1921 and was the first ‘large, lavish movie palace in America. This piece was created from my original photograph and digitally coloured. The image is printed on brushed aluminum, bringing out the the delicate patterns of the facade, and giving the piece an etched effect. The stunning sign is the only part remaining from the original photograph. I wanted it to stand out in all its original glory.
