Adventures in Northerly Island

This painting was inspired by my recent adventure in Northernly Isalnd or what used to be the old Meigs Field. It was a nice and relaxing escape from the bustle of the city as I wondered the prairie, pretending I was in the middle of no where. I walk towards the end of the Isalnd where the rubble of the old runway separates the island to the lake, I found a small and lonely street sign, which would then be my next art project
