Chicago Alley Art

November 10, 2021 I found a window with a balloon scuplture on a window. No one knew who put it there just that it appeared one day. I went back a couple of weeks later and the window was back to being a regular window in an alley in Chicago. I was so excited about making a ceramic piece I went to class the next day and made my Alley Art with white stoneware and low fired it. I painted the brick wall with acrylic paint and stain for aging. I made the balloons individually and attached them with slip then painted them with acrylic paints and mediums. I used my credit card for the brick effect. This one of my most favorite pieces.
