Pat Thomas [SOLD]
by Debeza Art Studio
Completed in 2014, this was my first Blues-focused painting I had done. The son of Son Thomas, Pat continued his father's legacy as a local MS Delta bluesman and folk sculptor and artist. He is known very well around the Delta and resides mainly in Leland, MS. He has been a fixture of the Delta blues culture for decades, and is also known for his unique "Cathead" drawings, a common symbol in local folklore. The painting was completed in acrylic on stretched canvas. While the original painting sold in 2014, prints are available for purchase on my Etsy Shop.
