Completed in 2023, this painting was part of a 4-part series featuring the beautiful countryside of Spain in the Castilla-La Mancha region. I have the opportunity to visit Spain about once a year, and love the warm, contrasting colors of the olive trees with the rust-orange clay. Capturing these vibrant colors as the sun hits them with a backdrop of storm clouds is really a beautiful site that I love capturing. One of the four paintings has sold, but the other three are still available. This painting is acrylic on a wood board.
