Hidden Vices

by Erick Ontiveros

$2,200

This piece is painted with Golden acrylic paint on a wooden-framed canvas. It depicts an angel-like statue in grief, with a snake sneaking in between a garden of roses. Along with other symbolisms, this painting is meant to represent the inherent good in every person that can fall into temptations and vices, especially at their most vulnerable moments. These vices can also be hidden in plain sight and covered up with something as pure as a rose. Being aware of these hidden vices is important to learn how to avoid them and, most importantly, to understand the people who are fighting against them.
