Don't Be Ranunculus

Don’t Be Ranunculus is a tribute to the late Robbie Pfister, whose vibrancy and dedication to the outdoors as an adventurer and park ranger bridged the gap between me and the untouchable wilderness. In this painting of a bouquet of ranculus, a gorgeous, bright flower symbolizing charm and magnetism, I explore the gift Robbie gave me of an accessible and attractive natural world, much like a beautiful bouquet sitting in a Chicago apartment.
